Build an igloo

In Le Grand Bornand, in Avoriaz, in the Vercors and the Jura, the igloo building workshop will bring together all children from 6 to 13 years old! It is a question of gathering a substantial stock of snow. Then, on groomed ground, we draw a circle 2.5 to 3 m in diameter. Around it, blocks of snow previously molded and packed in boxes are placed.

We thus gradually create a dome in which we will dig an entrance and a small window. The bravest will even build a whole village where they can play, enjoy a good snack or even spend one or more night (s), certainly at zero degrees, but quite magical (s).

Climb an icefall

In Champagny-en-Vanoise, La Plagne, Courchevel, Serre-Chevalier, Oz-en-Oisans or in the Vosges, supervised by an experienced guide, beginners and / or confirmed can try their hand at crampon and ice ax techniques: in a spooky polar setting, come and become one with sculptures petrified by nature …

Driving on ice
