(AOF) – A few days before the end of the 2023-2024 winter season, the National Observatory of Mountain Stations ANMSM – Atout France reveals an average occupancy rate of 57.8% across the entire period from December to the end of April, up 2% “despite contrasting snow conditions depending on the massifs and concerns about purchasing power”. Filling performance increased during the peak of the season, reaching occupancy rates well above 80% and up significantly for the Christmas and winter holidays.
Overall, mountain professionals are satisfied with the past season: 52% of respondents consider the level of attendance to be up compared to last season. Ski schools and ski lifts, for their part, recorded a slight increase in their activity.
