Surprisingly, Katy Perry moves all the way to Montecito. And Prince Harry’s wife plays an important role in this.

It’s a real gem; tucked away in Hollywood’s Hidden Hills. Katy Perry, 37, really wanted this house in 2017 because of the huge green areas and the beautiful nature. And, conveniently, friends like Cameron Diaz, 49, Adele, 33, Nicole Kidman, 54, and Jennifer Lawrence, 31, are all just a short stroll away. But now the singer is suddenly selling her beloved property, giving up the familiar neighborhood. Just why?

Katy Perry’s best friend Duchess Meghan lives right next door

The reason: the singer still owns a villa in Montecito, where she has been spending a lot of time for a long time. And this home is now set to become the primary residence of Katy, Orlando Bloom, 45, and their one-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove.

There is more to this move than just choosing the idyllic rich-people enclave near Santa Barbara. It is probably more important that Katy’s best friend currently lives almost right next door: Meghan, 40, the Duchess of Sussex and mother of two-year-old Archie and ten-month-old Lilibet.

Katy embodies everything Meghan appreciates

As GALA learns from a Montecito insider, the two women are often seen together in the village. Because of the children, you also meet up at the Perrys’ or the Sussexes’ in the garden. For Meghan, Katy embodies everything she appreciates: the singer is very wealthy, extremely successful, a real fashionista and is considered very sociable.

Meghan can always use female support, because the contacts with former friends – above all her once closest confidant Jessica Mulroney, 42, – she cut off in her new life or let her fall asleep. The adequate Hollywood replacement: Katy.

Orlando Bloom and Prince Harry also hit it off

Prince Harry also finds Katy attractive – because of her fiancé. Because the casual Legolas from “The Lord of the Rings” comes from Canterbury in “Good Old England”. And is one of the few people with whom Harry, 37, can speak in his original slang and laugh at typical British jokes.

Orlando Bloom has long since gotten used to life in sun-kissed California and never wants to live in his former home again. Another thing he shares with Harry.
