Reimbursements from the FEP, to which France contributes 18%, estimated at 500 million euros, will also reduce the amount of financial participation, according to the co-rapporteur.

On Tuesday, the Minister of Arms Sbastien Lecornu also announced the allocation of an additional 200 million euros to the support fund for Ukraine, which allows Kiev to acquire military equipment corresponding to its needs directly from French manufacturers. According to the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, based in Germany, the French government’s military aid to Ukraine until September 2023 amounted to 533 million euros, placing France in 15th place in the donor ranking.
