From May 10 to 29, 11 teams will represent the leagues qualified for MSI 2022, an edition marked by the absence of the LCL due to the war in Ukraine.

May 10 to 29 in Busan, South Korea, the best teams in the world will compete for the first international tournament of the 2022 League of Legends season. This year, only 11 leagues will participate, as Riot removed the LCL league from the competition following the cancellation of the Spring Split due to the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. There will therefore be no CIS region team. Hoping that the VCS region will finally be able to participate after missing the last Worlds and MSI because of the Covid.

This year, one of the three groups will have only three participants. The teams will compete in double round robin and BO1, with the top two from each pool qualifying for the Rumble. There are therefore 6 teams that will compete in a new tournament in double round robin and in BO1 as well. The first 4 will finally play the semi-final in direct confrontation BO5, before the final in BO5 on May 29. The $250,000 prize pool will be shared among the winners. The competition will be to follow in VO here and in VF here.

The seeding of the hens has not yet been given and will be very interesting to follow this year with this group of three teams. The league that wins the MSI will also get an additional spot for Worlds 2022. Come back to this page in a few days to follow the latest qualifications.
