Notably known for its all-in-one PCs, the Taiwanese manufacturer is presenting its latest model, called PRO AP241Z.

Cut for teleworking and productivity, it notably offers a solid technical sheet and an IPS panel offering a beautiful display while reducing eye fatigue.

A new window on the world by MSI

Unlike similar products using mobile processors, the PRO AP241Z will feature a desktop processor. Specifically, it will be the Ryzen 5700G, for significantly higher performance. This will ensure a very appreciable gain in productivity for multitasking use, or to load documents and applications very quickly, in addition to allowing better hardware and software support.

It can also count on 2×8 GB of DDR4 RAM clocked between 2600 and 3200 MHz (for a maximum capacity of 64 GB), and an M.2 NVMe SSD for ultra-fast data transfers. Note that the PRO AP241Z has a home version of Windows 11 installed natively as an operating system. For professional use, however, MSI recommends upgrading to the Pro version.

To take advantage of the solid performance promised by this technical sheet, the PRO AP241Z displays a 23.8-inch wide-angle Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS panel. The panel is also lined with technologies aimed at reducing eye fatigue, such as anti-reflective filters, anti-flickering and limiting the effects of blue light.

On the connection side, it will notably have an HDMI port which will allow it to be connected to another screen to further facilitate multitasking. We can also mention an Ethernet port, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A ports, two USB 2.0 Type A ports, a jack, an audio output and a microphone output.

The PRO AP241Z will also support Wi-Fi 6E technology to ensure the most stable wireless connection possible. A particularly practical option, especially for videoconferences, thanks to the included Full HD MSI webcam with an included microphone.

Another interesting point for teleworking use: the fully integrated support for the Trusted Platform Module technology. The latter aims to provide strong hardware-based security for data and passwords. The PROAP241Z is also easily transportable, since it is possible to disassemble the foot without using tools, if the need arises.

All that’s yet to be determined is a release date and price, which have yet to be specified on the product page via MSI’s official website, cited in source below.
