Last July, we saw the landing MultiVersus, the fighting game bringing together many characters from the universes owned by Warner Bros., thus allowing the integration of many well-known names. For example, DC Comics superheroes, such as Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, Samy and Vera from Scooby-Doo or Rick and Morty, to name a few, are playable.
The title was quickly a success, peaking at 153,044 concurrent users in the days following release, and these beautiful statistics lasted for some time, in particular because the experience was very pleasant. But the players ended up getting tired, and the lack of content, especially the Ranked mode which arrived late, had the effect of seeing players deserting MultiVersus little by little.
Since July, each month the peak of concurrent users is lower than the previous one, with a low record of 2,581 for this month of December, a far cry from last summer’s peaks. Nevertheless, nothing is lost for Player First Games, the developers, who can still restart the machine, by introducing new characters or modes.
