MultiVersus: the release date of Season 1 postponed, the price of the Battle Pass specified

MultiVersus was entitled to an official pre-launch as part of an open beta on July 26, which will continue without cutting or resetting progress on a Season 1. It should have started on August 9, 2022 with the addition of Morty as a playable character, but Player First Games changed his plans.

The studio has just confirmed thathe was postponing the launch of the Season 1 at a later date, without setting it precisely. The reasons for this postponement are not given, but we can easily imagine that the developers still prefer to hone the technique a bit before focusing on additional content.

A big thank you to everyone who plays MultiVersus. It’s exciting to see so many players enjoying the game and the open beta launch is just the beginning.

We want to let everyone know that we are postponing the start of Season 1 and the release of Morty to a later date. We know this might be disappointing for some and want to assure our community that we are committed to delivering new and exciting content that will delight players.

We will let you know the timing as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and enthusiasm and look forward to unveiling Season 1 very soon!

Those who have not yet unlocked all the cosmetic items of the Preseason Battle Pass will therefore have a little more time to do so, but the others will not have a priori a new objective to aim for by the Season 1.

the game director also specified that the first real Battlepass will include 50 tiers and its paid version will cost 950 Gleamiumthe paid currency of the game that you can notably buy at €9.99 for 1,000 Gleamium.
