Murder of Lola: what do we know about Rachid N., this man who would have helped the alleged murderer

The investigator around Lola’s murder continues. Dahbia B., 24, is the main suspect. According to information from Europe 1, the man who drove the Algerian is a VTC driver. He is presented by the police as an “acquaintance” of the suspect. It is he who is driving the Dacia which comes to pick up the suspect at the home of his sister in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, place of the crime scene, Friday at 6:03 p.m.

He takes her home to Asnières-sur-Seine, in the Hauts-de-Seine, where she will spend several hours in his company with the trunk containing Lola’s body and the two suitcases containing the victim’s personal effects. While in police custody, he claims that Dahbia B. told him that she had argued with her sister. She washed and changed at his place.

Blood found in his dwelling

During the evening, his boss calls him twice telling him that the woman he had taken during his last errand is wanted by the police. During the search of Rachid N.’s home, the police found Dahbia B’s clothes. In addition, traces of blood were found in her bathroom.

He tells the police that Dahbia B. wanted to go home and that he ordered a VTC, a Heetch, to take her back to her sister. It is then 10:30 p.m.

A man without history

Rachid N. lives in a four-storey stone building between two shops, located a stone’s throw from Bécon-les-Bruyères station. More precisely in a two-room apartment on the ground floor overlooking the courtyard. A man without history according to his neighborhood: “We say hello to him, we say goodbye to him. He always has his door open. He cooks, he invites his friends. No weird or suspicious things.”

More than discreet. This 43-year-old VTC driver had little interaction with other residents. Only his next door neighbor was able to talk to him: “I went to help him change his hot water tank. I didn’t know him that well, but he didn’t seem particularly bad. We never heard a noise in the apartment next door.”

One last appearance on Friday

An absence before a last reappearance last week, where he once again meets his next door neighbor: “It was Friday, even Friday evening. He was coming for a package or I don’t know what.” The same day that Lola, the 12-year-old schoolgirl, was murdered… and where the alleged murderer would have gone with the trunk to Rachid N.
