Today, it’s the turn of an Agatha Christie classic to be adapted into a video game, with The crime of the Orient Express. Scheduled for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series and Nintendo Switch, the game is scheduled for the end of 2023. With The London Case scheduled for the summer, Hercule Poirot will not have time to get bored.
A narrative investigation game, this is an adaptation of the detective novel by Agatha Christie. The key characters will therefore be present, with their eccentric alibis and fads.
However, some details will change to offer new reading and new twists to the plot. Joanna Locke, a character created for the occasion, assists Hercule Poirot during his investigation. It will be an opportunity to get out of the train using various flashbacks. The essence, however, remains the same, with deductions to be made to solve the enigma surrounding the murder.
No exact date has been announced, but The crime of the Orient Express is expected for the last quarter of 2023. It will benefit from full French dubbing, in addition to a release on all home consoles and PCs.
