The Murders in troubled waters series is back this Sunday, January 16 at 9:10 p.m. The opportunity to find out if the soap opera will be entitled to a second season.

This Sunday, January 16, viewers of France 3 are entitled to the last episode of the first season of Murders in Troubled Waters. A detective series broadcast on the antenna of France 3 since 2019, to find from 9:10 p.m.. This soap opera features homicide investigations on both sides of Lake Constance solved by Austrian criminal police detective Inspector Hannah Zeiler (performed by Nora Waldstätten) in collaboration with the chief inspector of the German criminal police, Micha Oberländer (Matthias Koeberlin).

But as the first season draws to a close, can audiences expect a sequel? Murders in Troubled Waters ? For the time being, there is room for doubt, because the series does not seem to be made up of 13 episodes, although a fourteenth number would be in production. No news of a second season has yet been relayed. However, the series remains in production, which would suggest the forthcoming release of a sequel.

Murders in troubled waters: where is the filming taking place?

Viewers will therefore have to be patient before finding out more. For its 13 episodes, Murders in Troubled Waters was entitled to a double set because the shootings took place on the German side and on the Austrian side of Lake Constance, in Lindau and Bregenz. The German-Austrian Crime Bureau was also a filming location chosen by the production. Premises made up of former offices of a construction company. The forensic scenes, on the other hand, were filmed at the Feldkirch State Hospital in Vorarlberg.
