In 2024, high-tech products will either be boosted by artificial intelligence or not. While waiting for Apple to enter the dance with iOS 18 and the iPhone 16, other manufacturers are jumping in to offer an improved experience to consumers. We think in particular of Samsung with Galaxy AI on its Galaxy S24, now joined by a famous player in the connected watch market: Amazfit.

For MWC 2024, the Chinese brand has lifted the veil on Zepp Flow, a new personal assistant powered by artificial intelligence. “Designed to understand natural language, Zepp Flow eliminates the need for predefined commands or keywords, allowing users to freely express their intentions”, explains Amazfit in a press release dated February 25.

The company’s connected watches will thus become more intuitive and will be able to effortlessly understand user requests, whether for “start a workout or manage daily tasks”. An interesting advantage when we know that current assistants are limited to very specific requests to understand their users.

This advancement represents a significant leap toward a future where artificial intelligence is seamlessly integrated into daily life, particularly in the areas of health, fitness and productivity.

Amazfit concludes by mentioning three key features of Zepp Flow that “redefine user experience” on its connected watches:

  • Natural conversation: Unlike traditional voice assistants, Zepp Flow allows users to speak freely, without requiring specific command phrases.
  • Effective recognition: Zepp Flow quickly and accurately recognizes user speech, ensuring smooth and responsive interaction.
  • Accurate understanding: Users only need to describe what they want, and Zepp Flow will recognize their intention and provide the most appropriate response.

Available with the Zepp OS 3.5 update, Zepp Flow will arrive in France from May 1, 2024 on the Amazfit Balance. For the Amazfit Cheetah, Falcon and T-Rex Ultra, the deployment will take place from May 28 to June 1. Finally, the Amazfit Active will be entitled to it from June 20.
