The so-called Speedweek is currently taking place in large parts of Germany. In one or even several weeks there will be increased speed controls on corresponding roads. This week usually culminates in the speed camera marathon, during which the measurements are further intensified. This year it is dated for Friday, April 19th. Each federal state can decide for itself whether it wants to take part in these campaigns.
According to the ADAC, Saarland has decided against it, so there will be no increased controls here on Friday. Nevertheless, make sure that you move carefully and safely through traffic.
