Season 4 of The Boys is going to take the gore to the next level if this tweet from the special effects supervisor is to be believed. The Prime Video series is being filmed for a launch of new episodes in 2023.
In three seasons, The Boys made us see all the colors, between exploding heads and bodies, rather trashy sex through zoophilia… The last one even served us with an orgy scene between superheroes – the Herogasm. And if you thought the series couldn’t go any further, think again.
According to the tweet of Stephan Fleet, the special effects supervisor – season 4 should serve us a new memorable scene:
“My eyes cannot forget what they have just seen.”
We don’t know more about the content of this scene, but we can expect everything. In any case, they will have to do better than the reconstruction of the giant penis in season 3 that Fleet had also shared on social networks.
The excitement is therefore rising a notch for this season 4 of The Boys, presented by showrunner Eric Kripke as a mix between “Avengers Endgame and Kramer against Kramer”. It should see the return of Soldier Boy (Jenson Ackles) while a secondary character – who may be the new big bad – will go to regular.
