Giovanni Zarrella is once again inviting the stars of pop and pop to his show. On May 4th, ZDF will show the music show live for three hours.
This year there will be five editions of “The Giovanni Zarrella Show”. ZDF will show the first one live from Offenburg next Saturday, May 4th, from 8:15 p.m. In his three-hour show, Giovanni Zarrella (46) welcomes numerous stars from the hit and pop industry. You can hear hits from Maite Kelly, Michelle, Sarah Engels, Marina Marx, Marie Reim, Nik P., Christin Stark, Philipp Poisel and Matthias Reim. Howard Carpendale will also introduce his new single to the audience.
The fans should be particularly happy about Samu Haber (48). The Finnish singer returns with “Gimme Your Hand”. The former frontman of the band Sunrise Avenue has been solo since 2022. Tom Schilling (68) will give viewers a foretaste of the European Football Championship. He performs his classic “Major Tom”, which has become the unofficial anthem of the upcoming event in recent weeks.
Christina Sturmer (41) and Loi (22) also do the honors. While the former will look back on her two-decade career, the newcomer will present her ballad “Am I Enough”. It is the first visit to the “Giovanni Zarrella Show” for the Mannheim musician.
There are anniversaries to celebrate
Giovanni Zarrella has some special occasions to celebrate. Semino Rossi (61) celebrates his 20th TV anniversary on German television on his stage. He’s celebrating with a new single and a medley of his greatest hits. Claudia Jung, on the other hand, celebrates her 60th birthday in the show.
Zarrella himself takes the stage for Udo Jürgens, who would have turned 90 this year. Together with the Pepe Lienhard Orchestra he will perform a medley of classics by the artist, who died in 2014.
Giovanni Zarrella has been leading his show since September 2021, which followed “Welcome to Carmen Nebel”. The music evening attracts millions of viewers to their screens every time.
