My Little Robot Laser, the new robot vacuum cleaner with UV-C beam from Senya

The manufacturer of small household appliances Senya enriches its (modest) catalog of robot vacuum cleaners by launching My Little Robot Laser. This new model has four UV-C LEDs on its belly to neutralize bacteria and other viruses on the floor.

After marketing the My Little Robot robot vacuum cleaner, the manufacturer Senya unveils its latest product called My Little Robot Laser. This model is logically positioned above its predecessor. If it has many similar features, it nevertheless brings a main novelty.

Indeed, My Little Robot Laser boasts a germicidal system made up of four UV-C LEDs placed on the stomach, as found on the Amibot Pure Laser H2O. UV-C light is indeed used by some manufacturers in household appliances to disinfect air and water and therefore eliminate bacteria and certain viruses.

However, this technology can be dangerous, which is why most devices incorporating UV-C use a light diffusion control system. Regarding the My Little Robot Laser, it is possible to deactivate the LED ramp via the application only. It will therefore be necessary to be careful that no one lifts the robot when it is in action.

Unlike its predecessor, this robot is equipped with a laser range finder allowing it to locate itself in space, but also to circumvent the obstacles in its way as well as possible.

Besides that, My Little Robot Laser benefits from three levels of suction (Low, Medium and Strong) and a mop function, which is why it comes with a microfiber cloth and a water tank with a capacity of 400 ml.

On the autonomy side, it is supposed to suck 3 h 50 min without stopping, before returning to its base while covering an area of 250 m2.

Like most robot vacuum cleaners on the market, the Senya My Little Robot Laser is connected via wifi and linked to the Senya Smart application. Through this application, it is possible to start or stop the robot remotely, to choose the suction power or to access real-time mapping. The user can also create virtual beacons to prevent the vacuum cleaner from passing through certain areas of the house.

Furthermore, Senya emphasizes that his new robot is able to speak and understand up to six different languages.

My Little Robot Laser has been available since February and it will cost €349.90 to get it.
