This is a controversy that has caused a lot of ink to flow. On January 11, Gabriel Attal, the Prime Minister succeeding Élisabeth Borne, announced his new government. The 34-year-old politician appointed Rachida Dati as Minister of Culture and Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, Minister of National Education and Sports. Barely named, the politician is already talking about her following the schooling of his children in the private Catholic establishment Stanislas, located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris.
Amélie Oudéa-Castéra then spoke on this subject at the microphone of BFM TV, on Friday January 12, during a visit to a college in Yvelines. The minister explained that one of her sons had been, like her, educated at public school. But, after having “saw lots of hours which were not seriously replaced”she and her husband have “I was fed up, like hundreds of thousands of families.” This Monday January 15, guest on the RMC set in the show Apolline Morningthe famous journalist, Nicolas Poincaré, who educated his child in the same public school as that of Amélie Oudéa-Castéra claims not to have had the same experience.
The journalist explains that his son – who is of the same generation as the Minister of National Education’s child – has always had a replacement teacher in case of absence at this school: “There were eight years between kindergarten and primary school, there was never an unreplaced absence for eight years.” Nicolas Poincaré continues: “I was surprised that this school was singled out by the minister.”

Amélie Oudéa-Castéra minister: her relationship with a famous sportsman!
Before entering politics, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra had a sporting career, and more specifically in tennis. She also lived an idyll with the Brazilian tennis player Gustavo Kuerten, when she was 19 years old. The minister also frequented the tennis player at the time when he occupied 66th place in the world rankings. A romance that lasted only a few months. Since 2006, the politician is married to Frédéric Oudéa. He is known as Nicolas Sarkozy’s former advisor at the Budget Ministry.
