Nacon launches two new RIG products under official PlayStation 5 license – 08/02/2023 at 18:22

(AOF) – Nacon, a major player in video game publishing and creator of premium gaming accessories, is delighted to announce the arrival of two new RIG products under official PlayStation 5 license: a microphone for streaming (RIG M100 HS), gaming and podcasting (available in two colors) as well as innovative in-ear gaming headphones (RIG 200 HS). Designed for PlayStation 5 gamers who want to start streaming, RIG M100 HS is a microphone that provides precise voice transmission, with rich, dynamic and undistorted sound.

Its plug-and-play USB connection lets you start recording and streaming right away. The microphone incorporates an analog-to-digital converter with 16bit/48kHz resolution to support a multitude of connections.

Available in black or white, it has a strong adjustable tripod. Protective foam helps block unwanted noise and a “mute” button, with LED indicator, indicates whether the microphone is muted or in operation.

The RIG 200 HS gaming earphones, under official PlayStation5 license, offer a mobile, discreet and lightweight alternative to gaming headsets. Immersion is preserved thanks to the in-ear format and the 9mm speakers broadcasting precise highs and deep bass.

The boom microphone is removable and can be detached from the headphones. It provides very good quality transmission when using voice chat during online multiplayer gaming sessions.

Light and compact, the RIG 200 HS earphones will adapt to your morphology thanks to the 3 different sizes of tips provided.

Historical decline of the Chinese market

This year, the Chinese market, the world’s largest ahead of that of the United States, should register a decline of 2.5% compared to 2021 (to 45.44 billion dollars), according to the research firm Niko Partners. This trend is due to the 5.1% decline in the mobile segment, which represents almost two-thirds of the market, due to the limitation of playing games for those under 18 years old. At the same time, the authorities did not issue any authorization for the release of Chinese video games for a period of 263 days. Mobile titles also suffer from Apple’s mechanism – App Tracking Transparency (ATT) – which restricts advertising targeting within applications downloaded from its App Store. However, the decline in the Chinese market should be temporary. By 2026, the number of players should cross the 750 million mark for a sector then weighing more than 53 billion dollars.
