According to information from Sky and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, former Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann is the favorite for the now vacant coaching position at Chelsea. Romano wrote on Twitter that Chelsea had always seen Nagelsmann as an upcoming coach to keep an eye on. The Italian was the first to report the separation of Bayern from Nagelsmann. The 35-year-old Nagelsmann was released from Bayern Munich a little over a week ago. He is also being talked about as a potential successor to Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid.

Potter replaced Tuchel seven months ago

Chelsea have won just three out of twelve Premier League games this year. In the Champions League, however, Chelsea have reached the quarter-finals and meet Real Madrid.
