That’s what the documentary is about

Namibia is one of the most beautiful countries in southern Africa. And a popular travel destination: a unique desert landscape, picturesque cities, and German is still spoken in many places. Namibia was a German colony. Germany has now recognized the genocide of the Herero and Nama tribes, but it still determines how we live together.
Today, the Herero are a minority and the majority live in poverty. The descendants of the German occupiers, the so-called German Namibians, still own a large part of the country and dominate the tourism industry. But the Herero want their land back. That creates tension. Two men are now attempting dialogue. Herero activist Laidlaw Peringanda fights against German colonial monuments and for the memory of his people’s history. Anton von Wietersheim was a large farmer and former Minister of Agriculture. He admits there is still a lot of racism and inequality and that the situation could worsen.

Both want a peaceful solution. Is that possible?
