Narita Boy gets a physical collector’s edition on PS4 and Switch

The Spaniards from Studio Koba have wrapped this new edition in a VHS-style box, marked with a “Narita Boy” in felt-tip pen on the edge, like in the days of magnetic tapes. In addition to a physical disk or cartridge depending on your console, the collector’s item contains a 72-page artbook, a comics exclusive, a pin and strickers, but above all the OST composed by Salvinsky (in digital format).

As a reminder, Narita Boy borrows some codes from Tron in a great adventure where real and virtual mix. Hero of the best-selling game of the 1980s, the hero finds himself confronted with the mysterious HIM, a diabolical figure invading the source code with very bad intentions. To defeat him, Narita Boy must unlock the secrets of his techno-sword and slay the evil Stallions, henchmen of the big bad. The title was mainly noted for its splendid artistic direction which is almost worth the entry ticket alone.

The collector’s edition of Narita Boy will be released in 2024. Its price has not yet been specified. Note that a previous physical collector’s version was offered by Limited Run Games at the end of 2021 with different content at a price of $74.99.
