The plot of Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections will focus on the Fifth Great Ninja War. A mysterious antagonist named Merz, blindfolded by strange scrolls stained with seals, wishes to resurrect the ideology of the deceased Pain and plunge into the world of pain with the aid of his terrorist organization Zero. Problem: the guy obviously has a Mangekyo Sharingan, which means he has colossal powers to carry out his threats. Equipped with a blood-red Susanoo, already seen previously, he can also cast an illusion on the Moon to convince the whole world to kill each other. Ah, and Naruto has, it seems, fallen under his sway. The heroes of the story will therefore be Sasuke and Boruto, who will do everything possible to calm things down despite the overwhelming power of the antagonists.
