In just two months, a license highly appreciated by players will finally make its return with an episode between new features and best of what it has done best. We are obviously talking about Naruto X Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connectionsincluding members of Kara were in the spotlight in the trailer from last month revealing its release date and editions. This time, Bandai Namco And CyberConnect2 are back with two videos that will make you impatient to try out the beast. The first is an overview of Special Story Fashion who will tell us a new story against the backdrop of Fifth Great Ninja War.
We find there Sasuke in touch with Naruto which seems to be controlled judging by the color of his eyes, a confrontation which obviously would not take place since they are adults here. And given the staging showing the names of the two protagonists, this is undoubtedly the introduction to the history of Special Story Fashionwhose cutscenes should delight us. If you’re still hungry when the video ends, new visuals showing gameplay of the confrontation can be found on the next page.
The other big piece of the day is a trailer dedicated to the game systems and which therefore summarizes its content. To begin with, it is clearly stated that among the more than 130 playable characters, 10 are new. Unfortunately, this means thatthey have all already been announced : Ashura And Indra Ōtsutsuki, Naruto Uzumaki (Baryon Mode), Sasuke Uchiha (Shadow Support), Boruto (Kâma), Kawaki, Jigen, Delta, Boro And Koji Kashin. As a reminder, a Season Pass will add five more after release. The explanations on the gameplay are nothing new, since it is a pure copy and paste of previous games. The only new aspect is the simplified control mode already announced, quite laughable as the game has no real complexity to begin with… Customization, a level system for the characters, free play cuts, different types of Tournaments against the computer and online clashes are also featured.
But the most interesting thing is the introduction of the mode Historywhose presentation will be very summary. No world to explore, but simple screens where the main cutscenes and confrontations follow each other retracing the story from the beginning of Naruto (the first tab is called Genin Training Arc and we only see the struggle against GaaraSO wait & see). Again, it smells reheated. An encyclopedia with various details about the characters and their techniques will also be included.

Let’s also remember that for the first time, the game will be dubbed in French. Naruto X Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections is expected on November 17 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
