The daughter of the late basketball player Kobe Bryant is pursuing a modeling career: On Friday she was seen on a catwalk for the first time.

The daughter of basketball star Kobe Bryant (1978-2020) is making her dreams come true: Natalia Bryant (20) celebrated her catwalk premiere at the Versace show in Milan. She then also appeared on the Boss Show. The young woman had already been through bad things: her father died in a helicopter crash in January 2020. Her sister Gianna (2006-2020) also died.

“Incredible opportunity”

She walked the runway at Milan Fashion Week for the first time since signing with the IMG Models agency in 2021. At the Versace Spring/Summer 2024 show, she rocked a black cap-sleeve midi dress, metallic silver shoes and a black handbag. Donatella Versace took away her nervousness

Natalia Bryant met the Versace boss in advance. “She was just so warm and sweet and made me feel so comfortable, especially because it was my first runway,” she told Vogue. “Meeting her definitely helped calm my nerves.” The model emphasized that she got into the industry because she wanted a fresh start where she could “do my own thing.” As the daughter of the tragically injured Kobe Bryant, she has always been in the shadow of her famous father. She is enthusiastic about the fashion show world: “Luckily I only had positive experiences and was so happy to see how helpful and friendly everyone was.” Previously, she gained experience as an intern on Beyoncé’s (42) Renaissance World Tour in the summer.

Her mother Vanessa Bryant (41) celebrated her daughter’s catwalk success and commented on Instagram: “I’m so proud of you, baby! Congratulations!”
