Has Natalie Portman’s marriage failed? The actress showed up without her wedding ring during a visit to Munich.
The rumors have been around for months: Actress Natalie Portman (42) and husband Benjamin Millepied (46) are said to have split up. So far, neither of them has made a public statement. But now Portman showed up visiting the IAA Mobility in Munich without a wedding ring – for the umpteenth time.
The actress, who is passionate about climate protection, spoke at the auto show about how sustainable travel can be made affordable. She beamed in a tweed ensemble. She combined black wedges and subtle make-up with a black, white and pink bouclé jacket and an ultra-short mini skirt. Striking: She completely renounced jewelry. No earrings, no necklace – and no wedding ring either.
Her husband is said to have cheated on her
At the beginning of August, the mother of two children (son Aleph is 12, daughter Amalia six) was spotted without a wedding ring on her wedding day. The first rumors about a marriage crisis arose in June: Back then reported the French magazine “Voici”that Millepied Portman allegedly cheated.
According to the US magazine “People”, however, the couple should try to save the marriage – especially for the sake of the two children. A source close to the couple: “Benjamin knows he made a huge mistake and is doing everything he can to make Natalie forgive him and keep the family together.”
Whether the reconciliation succeeds, or whether the couple finally separates, seems currently still open. But with her performance in Munich, Natalie Portman at least set an example…
