Even several weeks after surviving a corona infection, Natascha Ochsenknecht still has to struggle with the consequences.

In November, Natascha Ochsenknecht (56, "Close your eyes and through") announced on Instagram that she had been infected with the corona virus. Several weeks later, she is still struggling with the consequences of the infection, as she now reveals in her Instagram stories. The illness associated with the virus was "severe" with her. "I don't have to have it again, it still depends on my bones," Ochsenknecht wrote in response to a fan question.

The 56-year-old still cannot smell and taste properly again. When asked what she ate today, Ochsenknecht replied: "A lot, but I can't tell you how it tasted." It tastes spiciness "twice as strong" and also "I feel salty". But that is apparently not pleasant for her, as Ochsenknecht posted an emoji that throws up. She also "hasn't really" returned to her normal breathing.

In a little more than two-minute clip, Ochsenknecht reported in November that she was infected. The last ten days before her video message she was "basically knocked out". She "lay flat with a bad cough, with very bad body aches, my eye sockets were cracked and my lungs burned like fire." At that time, too, she spoke about the fact that her sense of taste and smell were completely gone – she "actually only drinks and eats paper and water".
