Nathalie Marquay-Pernaut: this new tribute to Jean-Pierre Pernaut which touches her a lot

Touched by a new tribute to her late husband Jean-Pierre Pernaut, Nathalie Marquay shared her emotion via her Instagram account on Wednesday July 6, 2022.

She does not forget it. And neither do the French. Wednesday July 6, 2022, Nathalie Marquay took to her Instagram account to express her deep emotion after being touched by a new tribute to Jean-Pierre Pernaut. Indeed, the widow thanked the Foire de la Saint-Jean (Amiens), which, at each entrance, posted a poster with the following mention: “This edition is dedicated to Jean-Pierre Pernaut”. “Thank you to the showmen so dear to the heart of @pernautjp for this magnificent tribute to each entry” then wrote the widow. In comments, the fans also went there with their little word. “Deserved tribute, we miss him a lot”, “May the memory of Jean-Pierre be constant because he revolutionized journalism. He defended the French regions, showing their wealth, their know-how and so many other things” or “He was proud of his region, we miss him. We will NEVER forget him” can we for example read.

Jean-Pierre Pernaut: what did he die of?

As a reminder, Jean-Pierre Pernaut was indeed from Amiens. He was born in the Somme on April 8, 1950 but died on March 2, 2022 in Paris. After secretly overcoming prostate cancer in 2018, the journalist had to face a terrible lung cancer. He was admitted in February 2022 to the Georges-Pompidou European Hospital in Paris, following several strokes and complications from open-heart surgery. The general deterioration of his state of health had led the doctors to place him in an artificial coma. He finally died at the age of 71, leaving behind his four children, Lou, Tom, Olivier and Julia.
