Everything was in place for an important home win for Kloten against their direct competitor Biel in the bottom of the table. But then something rare happened in the final minutes: Captain Gaëtan Haas saved the Zealanders with a shorthander to make it 2-2 in overtime with a shorthander just two minutes before the end, before he scored the victory again with one man less on the ice – thanks to kind With the help of Kloten goalie Juha Metsola. Ambri – Bern 5:2
Ambri’s winning streak continued in the home game against Bern. The Leventiners scored their 6th win in a row with a 5-2 win, against SCB of all teams, against whom they last won over a year ago, on September 17, 2022. Ambri got off to a flying start in the atmospheric Gottardo Arena: after just 6 minutes and Inti Pestoni’s goal it was 3-0, and the ex-SCB striker scored a brace in the middle third (27′). Alex Formenton followed suit 5 minutes later to make it 5-0. The Bernese team got within 2:5 by the end of the second third, but they couldn’t manage any more.
Train – Tigers 4:3 aet
The fans in the Bossard Arena in Zug were treated to a spectacle. Especially in the second third: the teams scored four times within 128 seconds to make it 3:3. Lino Martschini and Niklas Hansson scored for Zug, Pascal Berger and Anthony Louis for the Langnau guests. Fabrice Herzog was ultimately responsible for the decision in favor of the EVZ after 10 seconds in extra time.
Lakers – Lausanne 3:1
Breathe a sigh of relief at the Lakers. After Success in the Champions Hockey League against Adler Mannheim, the St. Gallen team finally managed another win in the league – after 0 points from the last 4 games. The 3-1 win against Lausanne is also the first three-pointer in around a month. A big thank you goes to Yannick-Lennart Albrecht, who steered the game into decisive directions with an early double. The tall center made it 1-0 after just 53 seconds.

Geneva – Lugano 2:3
A double strike in the final third secured Lugano 3 points in Geneva. Giovanni Morini (50th) and Calvin Thürkauf (51st) secured the away win for Luganesi. Sakari Manninen shortened the score again for Geneva, but it was no longer enough to equalize. The Ticino team thus achieved their second complete success in a row, while champions Geneva are still not up to speed this season and had to leave the ice as losers for the 5th time in the last 6 games (including the Champions Hockey League).
Freiburg – Ajoie 8:4
After a shooting festival in the home arena, Fribourg-Gottéron is at least temporarily saying hello again from the top of the table. Against Ajoie, the Saanestadt team initially fell behind twice. However, thanks to goals from Dominik Binias (first goal in the National League), Chris DiDomenico, Andrej Bykow and Simon Seiler, the score turned from 1:2 to 5:2. The reassuring lead was deceptive: Eric Gelinas (to make it 3:5) and Ueli Huber (to make it 4:6) each shortened the score again for the Jurassians, before Nathan Marchon and Samuel Walser (Empty-Netter) made it definitive with goals 11 and 12 of the evening made everything clear. 2 series came to an end: Gottéron finally won again after 4 defeats in a row, Ajoie didn’t score for the first time in 6 games.
