Naughty Dog is teaming up with PlayStation Visual Arts to work on an as-yet-unannounced game, Uncharted Returns?

Less known than many other in-house development studios at Sony, PlayStation Visual Arts is all the same at the origin of the very recent The Last of Us: Part Iin collaboration with Naughty Dog. The two studios therefore have a good relationship, which Sony and PlayStation want to see continue over time with new projects. We guess it with the posting of a new job offer to work at PlayStation Visual Arts, which aims to recruit a producer for a still unannounced project.

Another remake in progress?

On the job posting in question, PlayStation Visual Arts says it is building a new internal team that will aim to work on a project in collaboration with Naughty Dog. If the project is still unannounced, the studio nevertheless specifies that it has ” a clear vision and a prepared plan for the exit “.

Everyone is now wondering what project these two studios are working on. Since PlayStation Visual Arts is in control here, and Naughty Dog only seems to collaborate with the studio, we must not rule out the track of a new remakeas for the first episode of The Last of Us.

If we spoke badly and speculated a little, we could say that Sony would be able to try to sell us a remake of The Last of Us: Part IIbut we will rather bet on a remake of the very first Uncharted. Now that the studio has proven what it is capable of in this area, a remake such as this has every chance of happening, even if we remain at the stage of supposition for the moment.

However, let’s hope for a project a little more ambitious than that, whether it’s a brand new episode ofUncharted or, let’s be crazy two minutes, a comeback from Jak & Daxter (yes, we believe in it, a little, one day).
