Jak & Daxter, The Last of Us, Uncharted… so many licenses that have marked the minds of players, and which alone present the know-how of the development studio, Naughty Dog. If they were able to convince with The Last of Us Part II and they recently released Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collectionthe developers do not intend to stop there. Moreover, three games are currently in development.
It was very recently that we learned the news, thanks in particular to a tweet from Neil Druckmann, the director of The Last of Us. Taking up the tweet concerning the job offers from the Naughty Dog Jobs account, he takes the opportunity to teaser three projects. These are represented by three different emojis. For now, he did not give any further details. but that was enough for the players to question themselves and make their own assumptions.

Moreover, for several months now, several sources have mentioned the fact that Naughty Dog is reportedly working on The Last of Us Part II multiplayer, a project abandoned as the second part of the adventures of Joël and Ellie had required a lot of work on their side. Moreover, many rumors suggest thatthey are also said to be developing a remake of the very first The Last of Us : last December, we learned that the 1TX project would have been entrusted to Naughty Dog, following a decision by Sony. This coded project, originally thought up by Michael Mumbauer’s studio, would be the remake of The Last of Us. In April 2021, journalist Jason Schreier was already talking about it. Regarding the third game in development, there are no clues to know more, unfortunately.
However, these are only rumors or hypotheses. None of these project ideas have been confirmed. We must therefore be patient and wait for official communication from Naughty Dog in order to have more information and answers regarding these three games currently in the development phase.
