The “Navy CIS: LA” team soon shelve their work and close their last case with the 14th season. As the US broadcaster CBS has now announced, there will be no more episodes of the crime series after the season that is currently running in the USA. Thus, “NCIS: LA” ends in the USA after 322 episodes on May 14, 2023.

In an official statement, the broadcaster gave no reason for the end of the series. It just means that they want to thank the team for the good cooperation and that “NCIS: LA” was an integral part of CBS.

Showrunner R. Scott Gemmill also spoke personally at the end of his series. He thanks his team and the broadcaster for the cooperation, but also promises fans a fitting conclusion for the crew of Callen, Sam, Kensi and Marty.

The first season of “Navy CIS: LA” started in 2009 in the USA and in 2010 in Germany. A spin-off of the CBS series Navy CIS, it focuses on an NCIS division responsible for apprehending dangerous and elusive criminals.

Starring Chris O’Donnell (“Batman Forever”), LL Cool J (“Charlie’s Angels”), Linda Hunt (“Solo: A Star Wars Story”), Daniela Ruah (“Red Tails”), Eric Christian Olsen (“The Place of No Words”), Medalion Rahimi (“Pam & Tommy”), Caleb Castille (“In the Vault”) and Gerald McRaney (“This Is Us”).

Some actors also spoke out about the end of “NCIS: LA”. Sam actor LL Cool J posts a picture on Instagram in which he thanks for 14 seasons of his series.

After 14 seasons, this is the perfect time to end NCIS: LA at the top of our game! I look forward to continuing my partnership with CBS.
