Near Saalfelden – snow plow fell into ditch

A Pinzgau resident got off the road with his plow car on Thursday evening. The 39-year-old’s car rolled over several times. The man had to be freed from his car by the Saalfelden fire department.

Early on Thursday evening, a 39-year-old from Pinzgau drove a company car with a plow on the B311 coming from Saalfelden in the direction of Lofer. Because of the heavy snowfall, the road was covered in slush. In the municipality of Saalfelden, the car skidded for unknown reasons and came off the road. The car overturned and came to rest on the right next to the lane in the adjacent meadow. The man was injured to an indefinite degree and taken to the Zell am See hospital by the Red Cross. For the duration of the rescue, the B311 had to be completely closed in the area of ​​the accident. The lock was lifted around 7 p.m.
