What is this Logitech gaming mouse?
The G305 is a very durable wireless mouse. Its plastic shell isn’t the softest around and can be slippery at times. Nevertheless, it provides an excellent grip, thanks to its small size and its inclined design on the sides. Its ambidextrous shape is very appreciable, even if Logitech forgot to put buttons on the edge of the right side, which intends the G 305 more for a right-handed public.
For small hands, comfort is at the rendezvous, especially with its weight of just under 100 g. The buttons are well placed (if you’re right-handed), and are quite snappy. The wheel has well-marked notches and provides good scrolling. The set is reconfigurable in Logitech’s Video Games Assistant software.
Is this Logitech G305 wireless mouse deal a good deal?
If you are looking for a good classic, but effective gaming mouse, this is an excellent price. Logitech offers a perfectly accurate mouse with a HERO optical sensor. Even in the case of sudden accelerations, the precision is always present. Sensitivity can be adjusted from 50 dpi up to a theoretical value of 12,000 dpi. The G305 mouse can save up to five profiles, with five DPI levels each, in its onboard memory. Surface recognition is unfortunately less efficient than with a laser sensor. The mouse pad is therefore essential if you want to exploit the G 305 to its full potential.
Wireless latency is almost non-existent. Logitech’s mouse is on par with Logitech Pro Gaming accessories. The G 305 works perfectly thanks to its radio receiver which plugs into a USB port. Finally, the autonomy promise is 250 hours with a single AA battery.
