(AOF) – Neoen, one of the main independent producers of exclusively renewable energy, now has 3.3 GW of assets in operation or under construction in Australia, confirming its position as the leader in renewable energies in the country. To date, Neoen has already invested more than 4 billion Australian dollars there and its assets represent nearly 10% of the large ground-based solar power plants, 10% of the onshore wind power and 45% of the large batteries.

Neoen is a long-term player in Australia and owns 20 power plants in operation or under construction, representing 2 GW of solar and wind generation capacity (in equal parts) and 1.3 GW / 2.8 GWh of storage capacity .

Neoen Australia started with a small team in Sydney and now has 7 offices, more than 100 employees, with a presence in every state. With a large portfolio of projects under development, Neoen intends to invest several billion Australian dollars and reach approximately 10 GW in operation or under construction by 2030.

Its ambition is to operate extremely competitive assets in each of its three technologies (solar, wind and storage) within each state and to rely on this multi-technology portfolio to design the solutions of the future for the network as well as for his clients.
