Detective series and thrillers

There, he finds himself opposed to powerful enemies. If you like thrillers with a sticky atmosphere, with a little touch of dark humor, then this series is for you.
The legal series
The Lincoln Lawyer : After a break in his career, Michael Haller, nicknamed “the Lincoln lawyer”, is back in Los Angeles. A dream opportunity comes to him when a murdered lawyer bequeaths him his firm and his entire clientele, including a high-profile case involving a celebrity accused of murdering his wife and her lover. We love this series for its endearing character and its common thread which will make you doubt until the last minute.
Extraordinary Attorney Woo : A new hire at a major firm, brilliant autistic lawyer Woo Young-woo faces trials in and out of the courtroom. This Korean drama is absolutely beautiful, especially its main heroine whose kindness and positivity will make you fall in love from the first episode.
Period series
The Crown : The series focuses on the different years of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign. An absolute gem of writing and acting, The Crown will hook you from the first episode by immersing you as close as possible to the English monarchy.
The Queen’s Game : In the midst of the Cold War, the journey from eight to twenty-two years of a young orphan chess prodigy, Beth Harmon. While fighting an addiction, she will do everything to become the greatest chess player in the world. This prodigious mini-series with Anya Taylor-Joy will make you want to go to the end to find out if the heroine will realize her dream.
Outlander : The adventures of Claire, a married war nurse who accidentally finds herself propelled into the Scottish countryside of 1743. There she witnesses great historical events that she will experience alongside her new husband, Jamie. This adaptation of Diana Gabaldon’s novels is moving, tough, captivating, romantic, authentic and beautiful. You will fall under the spell of this couple.
Peaky Blinders : Based on the story of the Peaky Blinders gang, active in the late 19th century, this series follows a group of Birmingham gangsters from 1919. From the sets to the costumes, including the acting, direction and music , Peaky Blinders is the best that has been done in recent years in the genre. After episode 1, you’ll want to know more about these cap-wearing criminals.
Romantic dramas
Bridgerton : In London, during the Regency, old girls must find a husband, but the competition is tough… With its wildly charming sets, its delicate costumes and its range of strong women, this Netflix production adapted from the novels of Julia Quinn is a little candy that is sometimes too sweet, but which will please fans of the genre (we also recommend the spin-off, Queen Charlotte!).
Heartstopper : Sharing a common passion for rugby, the two teenagers Charlie and Nick quickly become friends. The first soon falls in love with his comrade, even though he thinks he has no chance. This series is so good that you won’t be able to stop watching the first episode. We like its sensitivity, the importance of the themes that are addressed and the complete cast.
SF series
3 body problem : When the laws of nature inexplicably crumble before the eyes of a tight-knit group of brilliant scientists, they join forces with those of an unyielding detective to confront the greatest threat in human history. This new Netflix series seems complex on paper, but above all it is a human epic that we are experiencing and we find ourselves binging the episodes to see where it takes us.
