Netflix: discover the new platform ad by the director of Amélie Poulain


Tudum! This sound, which usually resonates on our TVs and screens of smartphones, computers and tablets, can currently be heard in cinemas during the broadcast of a new commercial for Netflix by Jean-Pierre Jeunet.

For its new commercial, Netflix has made it big by offering the services of Jean-Pierre Jeunet. The director of A Long Engagement Sunday, whose last film, BigBug, was just released on the famous platform, has thus staged an ad that fits perfectly into his poetic universe and recalls more particularly his most famous work, The fabulous destiny of Amelie Poulain.

With a voice-over characteristic of this world-famous film carried by Audrey Tautou, the 1min45 advertisement emphasizes the emotions that the public can feel in front of Netflix productions and plays some of its biggest hits such as Lupin, Marriage Story, Sex Education, The Wisdom of the Octopus and of course Squid Game, a series that fascinated the whole world last year.

Available on YouTube, this advertising film also aired on TF1 on Sunday evening when What We Did Again to the Good God was broadcast. A great first for the SVOD service, which is therefore looking for new customers on television, but also in cinemas where the spot has also been broadcast for a few days.

What convince the most reluctant to subscribe to the platform? Only future membership numbers will tell!
