In the Spanish reality show “Love Doesn’t Lie,” six couples have to prove their honesty over three weeks. Over the course of the series, the participants’ lies and truths are uncovered as they face a lie detector.
The couples play for a cash prize of up to 100,000 euros. If they tell the truth, they make money. But if you are caught lying, the amount is automatically reduced.
The reality show was hosted by Mónica Naranjo in 2021 and has 7 episodes in the first season. A successor followed in 2022 with “Love Doesn’t Lie – Sardinia” and another offshoot of the format with “Love Doesn’t Lie – Poland” in 2024.

In “Love Like A K-Drama,” actor couples from Korea and Japan search for romantic sparks between each other as they try to land leading roles in Korean dramas. In “Love Makes You Blind” a group of singles takes part in an experiment to find true love. It’s all about the character. The singles get to know each other without ever having met each other before. In order to meet for the first time, they must first become engaged. At the end of their trip, after just four weeks, they have to decide whether they want to get married or go home alone. So honesty is required because it’s about the big feelings.
Thanks to its success, the show not only has six seasons of the US version, but has also received a spin-off in Brazil and Japan. There will soon be a first season in Germany. We would particularly like to recommend the Japanese version to you.

There is also some focus on the different castes and sizes.
The series ran for three seasons, with the last one ending in April 2023.

The winners of the show will receive $100,000 at the end, and the winning couple will be determined at the end by voting. The first season of the dating show has consequences. Netflix has not yet officially announced another season.

The three experts are charming, sincere and real, holding back and putting the couples’ stories at the forefront. The first season has 8 episodes. A second season has not yet been confirmed.

In “The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On”, existing relationships are put to the test and partners are given an ultimatum by their lovers. Several couples, one of whom is ready to get married, undertake an experiment. Although they love each other, the couples break up and begin dating each other. After they have found a partner, they enter into a trial marriage with them and live together in an apartment for three weeks. This is followed by three weeks of trial marriage with the original partner.
In the end they face their ultimatum and have to make an important decision. Then everyone asks the question: Will the participants marry their original partner? Are they breaking up? Or maybe they even fell in love with their trial partner?
Netflix released the first season of “The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On” in 2022 and immediately achieved immense success. This was followed by a spin-off “The Ultimatum: Queer Love”, in which same-sex couples face the same challenge. A second season of the main series followed in September 2023.

The Australian original ran for 11 episodes over 2 seasons between 2019 and 2021. The American adaptation started with the first season on the streamer in 2022 and with the second season in 2024.
