Netflix news: films, series and documentaries to watch in streaming in December 2022

After a month of quality November, The Crown and Wednesday in the lead, the Netflix streaming platform does not stop its effort and offers a promising month of December, with great news on the side of films as well as on the side of series.

Before offering you the list of new programs for December 2022, here are our recommendations for the month as usual.

Netflix series of the month

The Witcher: Legacy of Blood

Set 1200 years before the events of The Witcher, this series tells a tale of ancient times where seven warriors banished from the elven world decided to unite against an unstoppable force that had taken everything from them. Their quest spawned a prototype witcher in the midst of a conflict that led to the Conjunction of the Spheres, where monsters, humans, and elves came together to form one world.

Spin-off from The Witcher, the series invites us to return to the sources of the witchers (like the character Geralt of Rivia), thanks to a mystical and magical adventure, which extends its fascinating universe a little more. Created by Declan de Barra, screenwriter of iron fist and The Originals, Blood Legacy can count on a cast of promising talents (Francesca Mills, Nathaniel Curtis) and recognized actors (Michelle Yeoh, Lenny Henry). From December 25.

Netflix movie of the month

Glass Onion: A story at loggerheads

Detective Benoit Blanc goes to a sumptuous estate nestled in the heart of a Greek island. There, he soon meets a motley group of friends invited by the billionaire owner of the place, Miles Bron. As in any self-respecting criminal case, each of the characters has secrets, elaborates lies and hides their intentions, thus becoming suspect when one of them dies.

Continuation of the acclaimed At loggerheads released in 2019, Glass Onion is the new investigation by Benoit Blanc, still played by Daniel Craig. On the program: a gallery of colorful characters, deaths, chiseled dialogues, a plot with drawers and twists galore. A detective film in the spirit of Agatha Christie, as clever as it is thrilling. From December 23.
