Netflix: this beloved adult animated series is finally back on the platform!

The sixth season of the animated series “Rick and Morty” is available from this Saturday, June 10 on Netflix!

Once is not custom, it’s good for adults who will enjoy the big return of this cartoon on Netflix! The platform unveils this Saturday, June 10, the sixth season of Rick and Morty, previously broadcast on Adult Swim France.

The series features the adventures of a mad scientist and alcoholic Rick Sanchez and his fearful and naive grandson, Morty Smith. Through the universe and parallel dimensions, the latter make strange encounters, including with alternative versions of themselves.

Irreverent parody of the greatest classics of pop culture (the characters are also inspired by Marty and Doc from Back to the future), Rick and Morty is an animated series for adults, both for its many sharp references and for its vulgar and sometimes graphically violent content.

In recent months, the series had been talked about in the media due to the dismissal of its co-creator – and also interpreter of the two title heroes in the original version – Justin Roiland, following accusations of domestic violence. The latter was ultimately dismissed for lack of sufficient evidence.

The withdrawal of Justin Roiland will not affect the future of the series, already renewed for several additional seasons. A new dubbing actor will soon be appointed by the production to provide the voices of Rick and Morty in the original version (the VF should not, however, be modified).

The six seasons of Rick and Morty can be found now on Netflix, but also on Adult Swim via the Warner Pass, available on the Amazon Prime Video platform.
