Netflix: this series of superheroes appreciated by the public will leave the platform

The animated series adapted from the manga “My Hero Academia” will no longer be available on Netflix from March 31.

More Ultra yes, but not for long on the other hand. The My Hero Academia animated series, one of the most popular manga adaptations of recent years, will indeed leave the Netflix platform catalog at the end of the month.

Adapted from the eponymous manga by Kōhei Horikoshi (35 volumes available from Ki-oon), My Hero Academia follows the adventures of Izuku Midoriya, a budding young hero. While 70% of the population has a Quirk, he does not have superpowers. But everything changes when the most powerful superhero All Might, impressed by the courage of the teenager, decides to make him his successor and pass on his One for All to him.

Netflix did not have the rights to the entire series, since only the first two seasons of the program were offered by the platform until then (season 6 is currently broadcast weekly in simulcast on Crunchyroll).

Remember, however, that the platform will soon produce a film adaptation of My Hero Academia in live action!

Seasons 1 and 2 of My Hero Academia will leave the Netflix catalog on March 31.
