TOKYO 24TH WARD (5 January)
What is it about ?
Ran, Koki and Shuta are three childhood friends born and raised on an artificial island. Even though they come from different social classes and all three have different personalities and hobbies, they still hang out. However, their relationship will drastically change after a certain incident.
Why are we impatiently awaiting it?
Recently responsible for the Wonder Egg Priority, Horimiya or Shadows House nuggets, we can only have confidence in this new project signed CloverWorks. Immersed in a universe as rich as it is mysterious, Tokyo 24th Ward promises to be THE original creation of the season!
And while waiting to find out more about his atypical trio of characters, we can already enjoy the soundtrack “Paper Sky” of the group Survive Said the Prophet, to whom we owe in particular the openings by Vinland Saga and Banana Fish.
AKEBI’S SAILOR UNIFORM (8 January)
What is it about ?
Young Komichi Akebi passed the entrance exams for the Roubai Private Academy, a prestigious girls’ school she always dreamed of wearing their iconic sailor uniform.
Why are we impatiently awaiting it?
CloverWorks studios are definitely on all fronts. You can find them at the helm of this unpretentious little dramatic comedy but with dazzling animation. Filled with good feelings, the Akebi’s Sailor Uniform series promises to play with our emotions.
Follow the adventures of a young girl full of ambition, who aspires only to fulfill her dreams and to make friends. Sublime and touching, it’s this winter’s soft toy!
SASAKI AND MIYANO (9 January)
What is it about ?
Miyano is a high school student complexed by his effeminate features. He also has an undeniable passion: he is a fan of Boy’s Love manga. One day, while attending a fight, he meets a senpai named Sasaki who suddenly appears to intervene. The two boys start spending time together.
Why are we impatiently awaiting it?
Between school life and comedy, Sasaki and Miyano promises to be as touching as it is hilarious, carried by two earthy characters. The aficionados of romance between boys will be delighted, and the refractory will be able to try their hand at the genre, for a little sweetness at the beginning of the year 2022.

Why are we waiting impatientlyience?
Tribe Nine is a project comprising an animated series, a smartphone game and a Webtoon. It was created by the team to whom we owe the Danganronpa saga. The story therefore takes place in the future, in a land called Neo Too Kyo, where young people form clans after the collapse of society.
The anime, which promises to be explosive and exhilarating, takes us to a fictional location that resembles Tokyo’s 23 special wards. We will see outlaw gangs from every neighborhood fighting for prestige through Extreme Baseball.

Why are we impatiently awaiting it?
The author of Magi offers us a fiery new tale where warriors fight monsters during the Neo-Sengoku period.
Orient is adapted from the manga published by Pika Édition. Badass samurai, demons, big brawl, that’s all we ask of this anime which promises heavy moments of adrenaline.
MY DRESS-UP DARLING (8 January)
What is it about ?
Wakana Gojo is a lonely high school student who dreams of making traditional dolls for the Hina Matsuri. But as this passion is not very manly, he hides it and does not stand out. Until one day Marine Kitagawa, the most popular girl in high school, sees him using a sewing machine!
Why are we impatiently awaiting it?
When the love of sewing meets the passion of cosplay, it results in the duo of Wakana and Hina. My Dress-Up Darling follows with humor and benevolence this improbable romance between a somewhat shy couturier and an offbeat cosplayer.
Note however that, despite the predominant comedy, some ecchi scenes are to be expected. The anime is therefore not to be put in front of all eyes.
SABIKUI BISCO (10 January)
What is it about ?
In an alternative Japan, the country is ravaged by a plague that causes the human body to rust. In order to save his dying grandfather, Bisco Akaboshi decides to go in search of the legendary medicinal mushroom named Sabikui which would be a cure for rust.
Why are we impatiently awaiting it?
Welcome the very young Oz studio and its first production: Sabikui Bisco. And judging by the trailer, it’s hugely promising. Fluid, dynamic and colorful, the first images of this fantasy will amaze you!
These action-packed scenes, his “monstrous” universe and his rock OSTs are likely to make us addicted from episode 1. And with a character as badass as Bisco Akaboshi seems to be, difficult to resist.

Why are we impatiently awaiting it?
Love of Kill, or Koroshi Ai in Japanese version, is a manga created by Fe. It appears in the pages of the Monthly Comic Gene magazine of the publisher Media Factory. Since October 2015, 12 volumes have been released in Japan.
If, to this day, this Shojo remains unpublished in France, this series promises to be perfect for lovers of investigations and psychology. It’s great that it can be broadcast in France.

In 2045, two children born on the Moon and three children on Earth are trying to survive after an accident on their space station left them stranded.

Small original production in only 2 episodes, Our Youth in Orbit offers us a surprise trip into space against a backdrop of psychological drama which is reminiscent of the scenario of the excellent Kanata No Astra released in 2019.
Its delicate animation of the universe and its few droid and AI characters will offer you a total change of scenery for your winter evenings! The second episode is expected in early February 2022.
