Since Netflix has already renewed the series for a season 3! A month after the release of season 1 in 2022, the platform announced, via a Twitter post with a photo of author and creator Alice Oseman, that Heartstopper was getting two additional seasons: a season 2 and a season 3, therefore.
Good news for the fans, if the production of the series follows the same process as for the previous seasons, we can expect the third season of Heartstopper for the end of the year 2024, especially since the sources of UKCastingNews estimate that filming could begin in October 2023.
Indeed, as it is a British series, it should not be impacted by the double strike of writers and actors taking place in the United States.

Following the logic of Alice Oseman’s novels, the first season covers the first two volumes and the second season covers the school trip to Paris that takes place in the third volume. This would therefore mean that season 3 will follow the fourth volume, in which Charlie and Nick prepare to go to university.
