Netherlands closes embassy in Tehran as a precaution

AMSTERDAM, April 13 (Reuters) – The Netherlands will close its embassy in Tehran on Sunday as a precautionary measure, the Dutch Foreign Ministry said on Saturday, linking the decision to rising tensions between Iran and Israel.

The ministry added in a statement that it would decide on Sunday whether the embassy would reopen on Monday. (Reporting Charlotte Van Campenhout; French version ELizabeth Pineau)
