New censure ruled out, new 49.3 in the process: after the rejection of a motion of censure and the adoption of the revenue part of the 2024 draft budget, Élisabeth Borne again appealed on Saturday to article 49.3 of the Constitution on the entire text for new reading in the Assembly.

We are almost sure that an agreement between the groups of the presidential majority and that of the Republicans (LR) will be reached on the bill relating to immigration. A commitment: no tax increase
It is, to say the least, paradoxical to hear you criticize us for censoring the debate on the immigration law when you yourself have banned the debate throughout the budgetary review this fall, said LR MP Vronique Louwagie.

Like the Insoumis Sbastien Delogu, Ms. Louwagie notably denounced an amendment by the majority deputy Mathieu Lefvre reintroducing advantageous tax measures to attract in particular to France Fifa, the body of world football, a proposal supported by the government then deleted in the Snat.
