New animal abuser case – 32 neglected dogs kept in transport boxes

The police are still in the middle of investigating the frightening puppy trade case, when the next animal cruelty comes to light. A woman kept 27 Chihuahuas and five Shih Tzus in small transport boxes in the garden shed in the district of Bruck an der Leitha (Lower Austria). The confiscated dogs are in poor condition.

The woman is likely to have brought the little furry friends from Slovakia to her home over a longer period of time and kept them there under the most adverse conditions. They had to spend most of their time in small transport boxes and were only rarely allowed to exercise. Their fur was completely matted and their claws extremely long, a dog could even lose an eye.”Classic case of animal hoarding””It’s a classic case of animal hoarding. The owner sees no misconduct on her part,” says Anna Zwettler, chairwoman of the Bruck an der Leitha animal shelter, who was present at the official inspection. In total, the four-legged friends were divided into six animal shelters. The owner is shown.
