By order of God
From Jon Krakauer’s bestseller, By order of God offers itself a high-flying casting with Andrew Garfield (Spider-Man: No way home, The Social Network) or even Daisy Edgar-Jones, seen in FreshSam Worthington (Avatar) or Wyatt Russell (Falcon and the Winter Soldier). Inspired by real events, the mini-series recounts in seven episodes the murder of Brenda Wright Lafferty and her baby in 1984 in Salt Lake City (Utah), against a backdrop of religious fundamentalism, and the investigation entrusted to an inspector, a practicing Mormon whose the principles will be shaken. Evita Peron is in the spotlight of this original Argentinian series. The former First Lady of the country will have lived only 33 years. Deceased in 1952, her embalmed body remained in the open air for three years while waiting for the construction of a mausoleum before wandering for 19 years to escape the military putschists who overthrew her husband Juan Peron in 1955. Princess
A new heroine arrives on Star, the “more adult” world of Disney+. Princess is an action film in which Joey King (The Kissing Booth) embodies a young woman with a strong character who refuses to marry the man to whom she is promised and who wants to seize power. Locked up by the latter in a tower of the castle, the princess organizes her own revolt to save her family and the inhabitants. Beginning of the fight on July 1st.
