In a new documentary about Boris Becker, Lilly Becker should also have her say. She wants to end her life with the tennis legend.
A new documentary about Boris Becker (55) will soon be released, in which Lilly Becker (47) will also have a say. In conversation with the “Bild am Sonntag” The mother of Becker’s son Amadeus (13) speaks, among other things, about her feelings for the German tennis legend and her motives for taking part in the documentary.
The documentation is “a perfect ending. A farewell to my life with Boris Becker,” said the model of “BamS”. She had “learned her lesson” and no longer wanted to speak publicly about the former tennis player after the production was published.
Neither love nor hate for Boris Becker
“I don’t hate him, I don’t love him, I don’t miss him either, I feel sorry for him,” Lilly Becker explained further. According to her, however, everyone is “responsible for their own lives”. The two married in the summer of 2009 and their son was born a few months later. In May 2018, the former couple announced their separation. She now has “a very happy relationship on an equal footing with my partner Thorsten”. Just about two weeks ago she celebrated the joint red carpet premiere with him in Berlin.
The model also spoke about Becker’s daughter Anna Ermakova (23), who recently won the current season of the RTL show “Let’s Dance”: “Anna is a wonderful girl, I’m happy for her that she’s just like that is successful.” Lilly Becker’s son Amadeus “definitely wants to get to know Anna”. So she would be happy too.
New documentary a “character study”
In October 2022, the British streaming service ITVX announced that it had commissioned a new documentary entitled “Boris Becker: The Rise and Fall”. According to the press release at the time, the two-part documentary should include exclusive interviews and previously unseen material from the family archive.
We are talking about a “character study” – from Becker’s Wimbledon victory in 1985 to his time in British prison. The former athlete was sentenced to two and a half years in prison in April 2022 at a trial in London for bankruptcy offences. He was released in December 2022. In Germany, according to “Bild”, the documentary should be shown on Paramount+ from August 4th.
