New e-bike offers at Aldi: e-mountain bike fully for only 1,500 euros in check

From June 18, Aldi will be offering a number of new e-bikes in its online shop. In addition to a city bike and a folding bike, the e-mountain bike from Telefunken is certainly one of the highlights, because it offers a full-suspension frame (Fully).

The bike comes with 27.5-inch wheels and a rear motor, but unfortunately the dealer doesn’t give any more details. The manufacturer of the motor is unknown, the power is 250 watts / 36 volts. The battery has a capacity of 504 watt hours. A decent value that should be sufficient for a range of up to 120 kilometers.

The derailleur from Shimano offers 27 gears, the disc brakes work mechanically, i.e. with a Bowden cable instead of oil. Since it is a fully, there is both a suspension fork and a damper in the rear area of ​​the mountain bike. The components come from the manufacturer Zoom.

Overall, the e-bike offers good value for money, but only simple components are used. For simple tours, the bike is sufficient. If you want to go on difficult terrain or demanding trails, you should rather go for a higher-quality e-MTB.
