The new feature of the week: The extended PTZ
The decree relating to zero-rate loans to finance first-time homeownership (PTZ) appeared in the Official Journal on April 2. This text extends the system until 2027, although it was due to end at the end of 2023. It also broadens the eligibility criteria with more flexible conditions of access to the product and increased income scales for the first time since 2016. From now on, 29 million tax households will potentially be eligible for this new system, compared to 23 million currently.
