Obviously, patches will continue to be deployed for Helldivers 2, but for once, there is no question of that. Katherine Baskin, head of communications for the studio, spoke on the PlayStation Blog to announce the addition of mandatory premium war news. “Noble patriots of Super-Earth, this is no longer the time for discretion. New Premium War Bonds have been deployed to all combat units across the galaxy. Their code name… Democratic explosion” (via PSBlog).
For those who are not in the know, war bonds are the different content (weapons, armor, emotes, etc.) that can be unlocked with Super-Credits earned by playing Helldivers 2, or by buying with real money. And just in case, yes, the balance between the two formulas is good and will not make you want to throw the blu-ray of the game out the window. In these new premium war bonds “Democratic Blast”, we will therefore be able to obtain explosive weapons, reinforced armor, capes to improve our style, as well as poses to celebrate victories and democracy.

All this new equipment will make it possible to achieve “maximum damage to pulverize insects, beat machines to pulp and unleash the blazing fire of freedom! » in the words of Katherine Baskin. - BR-14 Peacemaker Rifle : to fire ammunition to penetrate armor. To be reserved especially for small groups

The new “Democratic Blast” premium war bonds will be available on April 11, 2024 in Helldivers 2 on PS5 and PC.
